JBC is seeking a Director of Sales & Finance to lead the company from a financial perspective. This position will have primary day-to-day responsibility for reaching out to prospective clients, managing current client relationships, and planning, implementing, managing, and controlling all financial-related activities of the company. Reporting directly to the CEO, this position's responsibilities will include:
 

  • Managing and retaining relationships with existing Clients

  • Increase Client base and overall sales.

  • implement innovative marketing solutions to promote the business to client base

  • Successfully deliver sales targets as well as strategic KPI's set by business.

  • Collaborate with Sales team to identify and implement innovative go-to-market strategies

  • Identify and qualify opportunities with quick turn-around.

  • Assist with high-level decisions about policy & strategy 

  • Set Annual Budgets, Monthly Reporting and Auditing 

  • Identify and address financial risks and opportunities for the company 

  • Review financial reports for ways to reduce costs 

  • Provides leadership in the development for the continuous evaluation of short and long-term strategic financial objectives. 

  • Direct and oversee all aspects of the Finance & Accounting functions of the organization. 

  • Evaluates and advises on the impact of long-term planning, the introduction of new programs/ strategies, and regulatory action. 

  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with company managers

  • Provide executive management with advice on the financial implications of business activities. 

  • Manage processes for financial forecasting, budgets and reporting to the company 

  • Provide recommendations to strategically enhance financial performance and business opportunities. 

  • Ensure that effective internal controls are in place and ensure compliance with applicable federal, state and local regulatory laws and rules for financial and tax reporting.



 

Qualifications
 

To be successful in securing this position you will have the following:

  • A strong understanding of both linear and digital media ad sales

  • Sales software management experience is beneficial

  • Be driven and customer focused and have a desire to grow with a business

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance and/or CPA is desired but not required 

  • Strong financial and accounting background, including an understanding of profit and loss, balance sheet, cash flow management and general finance and budgeting

  • Ability to understand new issues quickly and make wise decisions

  • Confidentiality 

  • Ability to work under pressure, plan workload effectively, and delegate effectively 

  • Strong problem solving and creative skills and the ability to exercise sound judgment and make decisions based on accurate and timely analyses. 

  • High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results orientation.
